Just found a recycling bank for "beverage cartons" in the car park on St Marygate in Ripon. The one behind Sainsbury's. It's about half way down the car park. Hurrah! Now I can get rid of all those milk and juice cartons I have been hoarding for ever. Luckily Hubby hasn't chucked them all in the bin. It has just been announced that Harrogate Borough Council are scrapping their plans for kerbside collections of cardboard and plastic bottles. It took long enough for them to get round to collecting glass, cans and paper. And would it be so difficult to let us put compostable food scraps into our garden waste wheelies?
